Jo McIntyre has been involved in the arts community for over 35 years. Originally from Sydney, she was a director of the New South Wales State Library before moving to Broome in 2000. During her time in Sydney she painted and exhibited at the Harrington Street Gallery.
Since moving to Broome her creative spirit was immediately sparked and her work reflects the incredible colours of the Kimberley. The intense reds, blues and greens together with the colours formed at sunsets, particularly in the so-called Wet Season, when the cloud build up and imminent storms produce an array of colours that are a colourist's dream.
Jo's work is on permanent exhibition at The Broome Factory in Farrell Street, Broome, Western Australia.
Her works are available as originals, matted prints and greeting cards. For further information about jo's work please contact us. If you would like to contact Jo McInTyre directly you can do so by visiting her website
